Description

 

A RCD Obstacle course consists of a series of obstacles like the Car Wash, Commando Crawl and Over and Unders. In our experience younger children derive most benefit from an Obstacle Course because more fun and learning appears to be generated from challenges that require less team working skills and more physical movement. However this does not mean that adults cannot benefit from this facility also. From our experience an oval layout works best but they can be tailored to your requirements, generally 2 “tracks” will be constructed per element and ground covering is included.

 

General Specifications Obstacle Course

 

  • Highest poles protrude 5 metres above the ground.
  • Operational ground area required is approximately 21 metres x 35 metres.
  • Designed to minimise the need for maintenance in every respect

  • Designed to be used by 3 groups of 12 people simultaneously
  • Safety signs included
  • Option for complete ground covering (pea gravel to 150mm minimum with geo-textile membrane and appropriate retainers). This is necessary both from an aesthetic perspective and to ensure operational efficiency.
